JE Pistons MITSU 4G63 2.3L KIT Set of 4 Pistons

Built from 2618 aluminum, these JE Pistons are forged in the USA for high-demand performance applications. They are specifically designed for the Mitsubishi 4G63 engine, offering an optimized combination of durability and performance for your 1993-1997 Eagle Talon. This set includes four pistons, high-quality wrist pins, locks, and JE Pro Seal premium piston rings, ensuring you have the essential components for a complete engine rebuild.

JE Pistons utilizes a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design, which helps minimize friction and power loss by reducing skirt width and saving weight with a shorter wrist pin. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also feature an accumulator groove to reduce combustion gas pressure, preventing ring flutter and improving ring seal for consistent power output. A skirt coating, also application-dependent, further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, contributing to quieter operation and longer life.

This kit is designed for a 3.386-inch bore and features an inverted dome/dish design with an 8.50:1 compression ratio.
