JE Pistons MITSU 4G63 EVO KIT Single Piston

Forged from 2618 aluminum, these JE Pistons are built for the demands of performance applications. They're made specifically for the Mitsubishi 4G63 engine found in the Evolution VII-IX models from 2001 to 2007, aiming for a solid balance of durability and performance.

JE Pistons uses a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design, which helps reduce friction and power loss by minimizing skirt width. This design also saves weight by using a shorter wrist pin. Depending on the specific application, a skirt coating can further reduce friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, while also cutting down on operating noise. An accumulator groove is also included in some applications to help manage combustion gas pressure, which can reduce ring flutter and improve ring seal for more consistent power delivery.
