If you're rebuilding the engine in your 1993-1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse or Talon, especially for performance applications, a solid set of forged pistons is crucial. These JE Pistons are built to handle the demands of a high-performance 4G63T engine, offering a significant upgrade over stock cast pistons. They are designed to provide the durability and power you need for serious builds.

Crafted from 2618 aluminum right here in the USA, these pistons have the high tensile strength necessary for engines pushed to their limits. JE Pistons uses a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design, which helps minimize friction and reduce rotational mass by using a narrower skirt and a shorter wrist pin. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also feature an accumulator groove to help control combustion gas pressure, improving ring seal and maintaining consistent power delivery. Some applications also include a skirt coating to further reduce friction and noise, while also cutting down on wear against the cylinder walls.

This kit comes complete with everything you need to get your engine back together: the four forged pistons, high-quality wrist pins, locks, and JE's Pro Seal premium piston rings. This is a flat-top piston design with a 3.346-inch bore and a 10.00:1 compression ratio, designed specifically for the 4G63 engine.
