This kit gives you a complete set of four forged pistons, along with high-quality wrist pins, locks, and JE Pro Seal premium piston rings, all made in the USA. These pistons are built for the Mitsubishi 4G63 engine found in models from 1993 to 1999, specifically designed for performance applications where durability and power are key. They feature a flat-top design with a 3.366-inch bore and are intended for a 10.00:1 compression ratio.

JE Pistons uses a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design, which helps reduce friction and weight by using a shorter wrist pin and a narrower skirt. This design contributes to better ring seal and consistent power delivery, especially important in high-demand situations like track use. The pistons are forged from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, making them well-suited for the stresses of performance engines. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to help manage combustion gas pressure and reduce ring flutter, further improving the seal.
