JE Pistons NASCAR CANADA SBF Set of 8 Pistons

This is a set of eight JE Pistons designed for Small Block Ford (SBF) engines. You get the pistons themselves, ready to be installed in your engine build. These pistons are forged in the USA from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, which is crucial for engines that see a lot of demand and high performance applications. JE Pistons has been making racing pistons for over 75 years, and they put that experience into these parts, aiming for a balance of durability and performance.

JE Pistons uses a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design. This design helps minimize friction and power loss by using a reduced skirt width and a shorter wrist pin, which also saves weight. Depending on the specific application, these pistons might also include an accumulator groove. This feature helps manage combustion gas pressure, reducing ring flutter and improving the seal for more consistent power delivery. Some applications also feature a skirt coating that further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, which can also lead to quieter operation. Each piston is designed specifically for the engine and its intended use, ensuring optimized performance and durability.
