JE Pistons Nissan GTR 9.0:1 Pistons - Set of 6

JE Pistons is known for its extensive experience in forged racing pistons, with over 75 years in the business. They apply this knowledge to a wide range of pistons for various applications, including high-performance imports. This set of six pistons is specifically made for the Nissan GTR engine, offering a 9.0:1 compression ratio. They are engineered, forged, and machined entirely in the USA, using 2618 aluminum, which provides the strong tensile strength needed for demanding performance builds.

These pistons feature JE's proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design. This design helps minimize friction and power loss by using a reduced skirt width and a shorter wrist pin, which also saves weight. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to help reduce pressure from combustion gases, leading to better ring seal and consistent power. A skirt coating, also application-dependent, further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, while also helping to quiet down operation. The bore size for this set is 3.759 inches, and they are designed for the VR38DETT engine.
