This kit gets you a complete set of six JE Pistons, specifically made for the Nissan VQ37VHR engine, along with high-quality wrist pins, locks, and JE Pro Seal premium piston rings. These pistons feature a 10:1 compression ratio, a 3.760-inch bore, and an inverted dome/dish design, all crafted from 2618 aluminum. This material is chosen for its high tensile strength, which is crucial for engines pushed to their limits.

JE Pistons brings over 75 years of experience to these components, forging and machining them entirely in the USA. They've incorporated their proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design, which helps minimize friction and weight by using a reduced skirt width and a shorter wrist pin. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to manage combustion gas pressure, reducing ring flutter and improving seal for consistent power. A skirt coating, also application-dependent, further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, contributing to quieter operation.
