This specific set is designed for Nissan R20VE/VET engines, offering a 12.5:1 compression ratio with a dome piston design and an 86.5mm bore. These pistons are engineered and forged 100% in the USA using 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, which is crucial for high-demand performance applications.

This set includes a unique Proprieatary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design. This design helps minimize friction and power loss by using a reduced skirt width and a shorter wrist pin, which also saves weight. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also feature an accumulator groove to reduce combustion gas pressure, preventing ring flutter and improving ring seal for consistent power. Additionally, a skirt coating, if included for this application, further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, while also lowering operating noise.
