JE Pistons Nissan SR20DET 10:1 Kit - Single Piston

JE designs each piston specifically for its intended engine and application, aiming for a balance of durability and performance. This kit features a flat-top design with a 10:1 compression ratio, and includes their proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design. This FSR forging helps minimize friction and power loss by reducing skirt width and using a shorter wrist pin, which also saves weight. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also come with a skirt coating to further reduce friction and wear on the cylinder walls, leading to quieter operation. An accumulator groove can also be included to help manage combustion gas pressure, improving ring seal and keeping power consistent.
