JE Pistons Nissan SR20DET 10:1 Piston Kit - Single

This kit includes a single JE Pistons forged piston designed for the Nissan SR20DET engine. It's built with 2618 aluminum, which offers the high tensile strength needed for demanding performance applications. The piston features a flat top design with a 3.406-inch bore and a 10.00:1 compression ratio, intended to optimize performance and durability for specific engine builds.

JE Pistons applies over 75 years of experience to these components, with this particular piston forged and machined 100% in the USA. It incorporates a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design, which helps minimize friction and power loss by reducing skirt width. Depending on the application, it may also feature a skirt coating to further reduce friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, while also cutting down on operating noise. An accumulator groove, also application-dependent, can help manage combustion gas pressure, reducing ring flutter and improving ring seal for more consistent power delivery.
