This JE Pistons kit gives you a complete set of six forged pistons, designed specifically for Nissan VG30 engines. You'll also get high-quality wrist pins, locks, and JE Pro Seal premium piston rings, all made in the USA. These pistons feature an inverted dome design with a -5.5cc volume, targeting a 9.0:1 compression ratio for your build. The 87mm bore size is ready for your engine's needs.

JE Pistons uses a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design, which helps minimize friction and power loss by using a reduced skirt width. This design also saves weight and uses a shorter wrist pin. The pistons are forged from 2618 aluminum, a material known for its high tensile strength, making it well-suited for high-demand performance applications. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to help reduce pressure from combustion gases, which can improve ring seal and reduce ring flutter. A skirt coating, if included for your application, further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, while also helping to quiet down engine noise.
