JE Pistons Nissan VQ35HR 95.5mm Bore 8.5:1 Pistons - Set of 6

This is a set of six JE Pistons designed for Nissan VQ35HR engines. You get the pistons themselves, along with high-quality wrist pins, locks, and JE Pro Seal premium piston rings. These pistons are forged in the USA using 2618 aluminum, a material known for its high tensile strength, which is crucial for engines pushing performance limits.

JE Pistons has been making forged racing pistons for over 75 years, and they apply that experience to these specific VQ35HR pistons. They feature a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design, which helps minimize friction and reduce weight by using a narrower skirt and a shorter wrist pin. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to help reduce combustion gas pressure, improving ring seal and preventing flutter. A skirt coating, also application-dependent, is used to further reduce friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, which can also lead to quieter operation.

These pistons are designed with an inverted dome/dish shape and have a bore size of 95.5mm (3.760 inches), resulting in a compression ratio of 8.5:1.
