JE Pistons OPEL 1.6 16V 11.5:1 KIT Set of 4 Pistons

If you're rebuilding the engine in your OPEL 1.6 16V for performance, a set of forged pistons is a critical component. These JE Pistons are built to handle the increased stress and heat that comes with a performance build, offering a significant upgrade over stock cast pistons. They are designed specifically for the OPEL 1.6L X16EX/X16EXL engine, ensuring a proper fit and optimized performance.

JE Pistons uses a proprietary forged side relief (FSR) design, which helps minimize friction and reduce weight by using a narrower skirt and a shorter wrist pin. The pistons are forged in the USA from 2618 aluminum, a material known for its high tensile strength, making them well-suited for high-demand applications. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also feature an accumulator groove to reduce combustion gas pressure and improve ring seal, as well as a skirt coating to further reduce friction and noise. This kit includes high-quality wrist pins, locks, and JE Pro Seal premium piston rings, all made in the USA.
