These pistons are forged in the USA from 2618 aluminum, which gives them the strong tensile strength needed for demanding performance applications. JE Pistons uses a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design that helps reduce friction and weight by using a shorter wrist pin and narrower skirt. Depending on your specific application, they may also include an accumulator groove to help manage combustion gas pressure, leading to better ring seal and consistent power. A skirt coating, if included for your engine, further reduces friction and noise while minimizing wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls.

This kit comes complete with everything you need to install the pistons: high-quality wrist pins, locks, and JE's Pro Seal premium piston rings.
