JE Pistons PORSCHE 3.2L DM KIT Set of 6 Pistons

Starting with the 2618 aluminum construction, these JE Pistons are forged in the USA to handle the demands of a high-performance 3.2L Porsche 911 engine. This set of six pistons is designed specifically for the 1984-1989 air-cooled 911, offering an improved combination of durability and performance for your build.

JE Pistons incorporates their proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design, which helps minimize friction and power loss by using a reduced skirt width. This design, along with a shorter wrist pin, also saves weight. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also feature an accumulator groove to reduce combustion gas pressure, helping to prevent ring flutter and improve ring seal for more consistent power. A skirt coating, also application-dependent, further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, contributing to quieter operation.

This kit includes everything you need to get your engine rebuilt: six forged pistons with a 3.937-inch bore, high-quality wrist pins, locks, and JE Pro Seal premium piston rings. Please note that these pistons are not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California.
