This is a set of six forged pistons from JE Pistons, designed for Porsche 3.3L air-cooled 6-cylinder engines. You get the pistons, high-quality wrist pins, locks, and JE Pro Seal premium piston rings all included in this kit. These pistons are forged in the USA using 2618 aluminum, which gives them the high tensile strength needed for demanding performance applications.

JE Pistons has applied over 75 years of experience to create these pistons, which are engineered specifically for your engine and its intended use. They feature a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design that helps minimize friction and power loss by reducing skirt width. This design, along with a shorter wrist pin, also saves weight. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to help reduce combustion gas pressure, which can improve ring seal and reduce ring flutter. A skirt coating, also application-dependent, is used to reduce friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, while also helping to quiet down engine noise.
