This set features JE's proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design, which helps cut down on friction and power loss by using a narrower skirt and a shorter wrist pin. Depending on the specific application, you might also get an accumulator groove to help manage combustion gas pressure, which can reduce ring flutter and improve ring seal for more consistent power. Some applications also include a skirt coating that further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, while also quieting down the engine's operation. This kit includes high-quality wrist pins, locks, and JE Pro Seal premium piston rings, so you have everything you need for installation.

With a bore of 3.820 inches and a compression ratio of 8.0:1, these pistons are designed for a dome configuration.
