Forged in the USA using 2618 aluminum, these JE Pistons are built for the high-demand performance applications found in Porsche 3.3L Turbo engines. This set of six pistons is designed to optimize both durability and performance, drawing on JE Pistons' 75 years of experience in creating racing pistons for a wide range of vehicles.

Each piston features a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design. This minimizes friction and power loss by reducing skirt width and using a shorter wrist pin, which also saves weight. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to reduce combustion gas pressure, helping to prevent ring flutter and improve ring seal for consistent power delivery. A skirt coating, also application-dependent, further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, contributing to quieter operation.
