JE Pistons Porsche 3.6L KIT Set of 6 Pistons

JE Pistons uses a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design in this set of six pistons for Porsche 3.6L engines. This design minimizes friction and power loss by reducing skirt width and uses a shorter wrist pin to save additional weight. These pistons are forged in the USA from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, which is essential for high-demand performance applications like racing.

Each piston is designed specifically for the Porsche 3.6L engine to provide optimized performance and durability. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may include an accumulator groove to help reduce combustion gas pressure, which can prevent ring fluttering and improve ring seal for consistent power. A skirt coating, also application-dependent, further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, while also contributing to reduced operating noise. This kit includes high-quality wrist pins, locks, and JE Pro Seal premium piston rings, ensuring you have the necessary components for a complete rebuild.
