If you're rebuilding the engine in your Porsche 3.6L air-cooled 6-cylinder, this JE Pistons kit is built for serious performance. JE Pistons has been making forged pistons for over 75 years, and this set is designed specifically for your engine application to give you the best combination of durability and performance. They're forged and machined right here in the USA using 2618 aluminum, which gives them the strong tensile strength needed for high-demand situations.

This kit includes six pistons featuring JE's proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design. This helps minimize friction and power loss by reducing skirt width, and it also saves weight with a shorter wrist pin. Depending on your specific application, you might also get an accumulator groove to help reduce combustion gas pressure, which improves ring seal and keeps power consistent. Some applications also include a skirt coating to cut down on friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, which also helps reduce engine noise.

This set comes complete with high-quality wrist pins, locks, and JE Pro Seal premium piston rings, so you have everything you need to get your engine back together.
