JE Pistons Porsche 911 2.2L 87.5mm Set of 6 Pistons

This is a set of six JE Pistons, specifically designed for the 2.2L Porsche 911 engine with an 87.5mm bore. You get the pistons themselves, along with high-quality wrist pins, locks, and JE Pro Seal premium piston rings, all made in the USA. These pistons are forged from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, which is crucial for engines operating under demanding performance conditions.

JE Pistons uses a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design that helps minimize friction and reduce weight by using a narrower skirt and a shorter wrist pin. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also feature an accumulator groove to help control combustion gas pressure, leading to better ring seal and more consistent power.
