Forged from 2618 aluminum, these JE Pistons are built for the demanding performance needs of a Porsche 911 3.0L engine. This material choice offers the high tensile strength required for high-stress applications, ensuring durability when you push your engine hard. Each piston in this set features JE's proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design. This reduces skirt width and uses a shorter wrist pin, which helps minimize friction and power loss while also saving weight. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to help control combustion gas pressure, improving ring seal and preventing flutter. A skirt coating, if included for your application, further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, contributing to quieter operation. These pistons are designed specifically for the 3.0L Porsche engine, optimizing performance and durability.

This kit comes complete with high-quality wrist pins, locks, and JE Pro Seal premium piston rings, making it a comprehensive solution for your engine build.
