JE Pistons Porsche 911 3.6L 100mm Set of 6 Pistons

This is a set of six JE Pistons, specifically designed for Porsche 911 3.6L engines with a 100mm bore. You'll receive the pistons themselves, along with high-quality wrist pins, locks, and JE Pro Seal premium piston rings needed for installation. These pistons are forged in the USA from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, making them well-suited for high-demand performance applications where durability is crucial.

JE Pistons has applied over 75 years of experience to create these pistons, featuring a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design. This design helps minimize friction and power loss by reducing skirt width and using a shorter wrist pin, which also saves weight. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to help reduce combustion gas pressure, improving ring seal and preventing flutter. A skirt coating, also application-dependent, further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, contributing to quieter operation.

These pistons are engineered specifically for the Porsche 911 3.6L engine, aiming for optimized performance and durability. They feature a dome design and are set up for a 3.937-inch bore with a 1.250-inch compression distance and a 0.905-inch pin diameter.
