The top ring on this JE Pistons set is made from 0.064 inch ductile iron with a plasma moly coating, a strong choice for sealing combustion pressure. This set is built for 8-cylinder engines and uses the common 1/16-1/16-3/16 inch ring sizes, often referred to as EconO sizes. The second ring is also 0.064 inch, made of iron phosphate, and the oil ring is 0.188 inch carbon steel with a chrome finish and standard tension.
