This improved seal can lead to gains in horsepower by ensuring more of the energy from combustion is used to turn the crankshaft. These rings are a file-fit style, meaning you'll adjust them to the perfect gap for your specific cylinder bore during installation.

The top ring is made from ductile iron with a plasmy moly coating, which is known for its durability and ability to handle high combustion temperatures while maintaining a good seal. The second ring is iron phosphate, and the oil ring is carbon steel with standard tension, designed to manage oil and prevent it from entering the combustion chamber.
