Starting with a 0.064 inch hard ductile iron phosphate top ring, this JE Pistons ring set is built for precise sealing of combustion pressure. This helps to maximize horsepower by ensuring that pressure stays where it belongs during the power stroke. The second ring is also 0.064 inch and features an iron phosphate coating, working in tandem with the top ring for a solid seal.
For the oil control, a 0.188 inch carbon steel chrome low tension oil ring is included. This combination of materials and thicknesses is designed to suit a wide variety of engines.
