This particular set is designed for 8-cylinder applications and features file-fit rings, meaning you can precisely adjust the end gap for your specific cylinder bore. The dimensions are 1/16 inch for the top and second rings, and 3/16 inch for the oil ring.

The top ring is made from hard ductile iron with a phosphate coating, and the second ring is also iron phosphate. These materials are chosen for their durability and ability to handle the heat and pressure inside the cylinder. The oil ring is constructed from carbon steel with a chrome plating, which helps it resist wear and maintain its sealing ability across a wide range of temperatures.
