Starting with a 0.064-inch hard ductile iron phosphate top ring, these JE Piston rings are built for serious sealing. This material choice and precise thickness are key to maximizing combustion pressure and, in turn, horsepower. The second ring also comes in at 0.064 inches with an iron phosphate coating, working in tandem with the top ring to ensure a solid seal against the cylinder wall. For the oil ring, you get a 0.188-inch carbon steel chrome standard tension ring, designed to manage oil effectively and prevent blow-by.

JE Pistons offers these rings in a wide variety of sizes and thicknesses to fit many different engines. The same precision sealing technology used by top racing teams is incorporated here, aiming for reduced friction and improved durability.
