This set features a 0.0472-inch carbon steel plasma moly top ring, a 0.0591-inch iron phosphate second ring, and a 0.1181-inch carbon steel chrome standard tension oil ring. These rings are file-fit, meaning you'll need to gap them to your specific cylinder bore during installation, a common practice for performance builds to ensure optimal sealing.
JE Pistons uses the same ring services that top NHRA Pro Stock and NASCAR teams rely on, including back cutting and PVD coating, which can lead to gains in durability and power by reducing friction and improving ring seal.
