JE Pistons SBC 400 FSR DOME Set of 8 Pistons

If you're building a high-performance Small Block Chevy 400 engine, these JE Pistons FSR Dome pistons are a solid choice. JE Pistons has been making forged racing pistons for over 75 years, and they build these right here in the USA using 2618 aluminum. This material gives them the high tensile strength needed for demanding applications, whether you're hitting the drag strip or the dirt track.

What sets these apart is the Forged Side Relief (FSR) design. This means they've engineered the skirt width and wrist pin length to be shorter, which helps reduce friction and save weight. Some applications also get an accumulator groove, which helps manage combustion gas pressure to keep the rings sealed tight and maintain consistent power. Plus, a skirt coating is often included to further cut down on friction and wear, making the engine run quieter and last longer.

This set includes eight pistons, each designed specifically for the SBC 400 engine with a 4.125-inch bore. They come with a 0.927-inch pin and have a 10.8 cc dome volume. Keep in mind these are not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California.
