They're forged from 2618 aluminum, a material known for its high tensile strength, making these pistons well-suited for demanding applications where durability and performance are critical. What sets these pistons apart is the proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design. This means they have a reduced skirt width and a shorter wrist pin, which helps minimize friction and power loss while also saving weight. Depending on the specific application, they may also feature an accumulator groove to help reduce combustion gas pressure, leading to better ring seal and more consistent power. Some applications also include a skirt coating that further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, which can also help quiet down engine noise.

This set includes eight pistons, each with a 4.165-inch bore and a 1.100-inch compression distance, featuring a 10.8cc dome.
