This specific set, the SBC FSR TOUR SERS GP, is built for Small Block Chevrolet engines and is engineered, forged, and machined entirely in the USA. These pistons are designed to offer a strong combination of durability and performance, proven in various racing environments.

Crafted from 2618 aluminum, these pistons possess the high tensile strength necessary for demanding performance applications. The unique Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design helps reduce friction and power loss by using a narrower skirt and a shorter wrist pin, which also saves weight. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also feature an accumulator groove to manage combustion gas pressure, leading to better ring seal and consistent power. Additionally, a skirt coating can further reduce friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, contributing to quieter operation.

This set includes eight pistons, each designed specifically for the Small Block Chevrolet engine and its intended use, aiming for optimized performance and longevity. They feature a flat top design with a 4.035-inch bore, a 1.250-inch compression distance (CD), and a 0.927-inch wrist pin.
