JE Pistons SBC FSR TOUR SERS GP Set of 8 Pistons

Starting with a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design, these JE Pistons for your Small Block Chevrolet are built to handle serious performance. This design minimizes friction and power loss by using a reduced skirt width and a shorter wrist pin, which also saves weight. They're forged and machined 100% in the USA from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, making these pistons well-suited for high-demand applications where durability and performance are critical.

Beyond the core forging, these pistons incorporate features like an accumulator groove, which helps reduce combustion gas pressure. This can lead to less ring flutter and an improved ring seal, ensuring consistent power delivery. Some applications may also include a skirt coating designed to further reduce friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, while also contributing to quieter operation. Each set is specifically designed for the engine and intended use, aiming for an optimized balance of performance and longevity, proven time and again in racing environments.

This set includes eight pistons, each with a 4.035-inch bore, a 1.125-inch compression distance (CD), and a 0.927-inch pin diameter. They feature a flat-top design. Please note that these pistons are not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California. They are also subject to California's Proposition 65 warning.
