JE Pistons SBC LS1 FT Set of 8 Pistons

Starting with a 2618 aluminum forging, these JE Pistons are built for serious performance in your 1997-2004 Chevrolet Corvette. JE Pistons has been making forged pistons for over 75 years, and they engineer these specifically for the LS1 engine to give you the best combination of durability and power when you're pushing your engine hard, whether that's on the track or the street.

These pistons feature a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design. This means they have a reduced skirt width and a shorter wrist pin, which helps cut down on friction and power loss while also saving weight. Some applications, like this one, also include an accumulator groove. This groove helps manage combustion gas pressure, which can reduce ring flutter and improve the seal of your piston rings, leading to more consistent power. If your application includes a skirt coating, it further reduces friction and wear on the cylinder walls and piston skirts, which can also make the engine run a bit quieter.

Every part of this set is made 100% in the USA, from the initial forging to the final machining. They are flat-top pistons with a 3.905-inch bore and come with a 0.927-inch pin. This kit includes all 8 pistons needed for a V8 engine. Please note that these pistons are not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California.
