JE Pistons SBC LS1 FT Set of 8 Pistons

If you're rebuilding the engine in your 1997-2004 Chevrolet Corvette, especially for performance applications, a set of JE Pistons is a solid choice. These are forged pistons designed specifically for the LS1 engine, offering a significant upgrade over stock components. They are made in the USA from 2618 aluminum, a material known for its high tensile strength, which is crucial for handling the demands of high-performance engines.

JE Pistons brings over 75 years of experience to their forged piston designs. This set features a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design, which helps minimize friction and power loss by using a reduced skirt width. This design also saves weight by allowing for a shorter wrist pin. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to help manage combustion gas pressure, improving ring seal and maintaining consistent power.
