This set of four pistons features a custom 86.0mm bore and a 10.00:1 compression ratio, designed specifically for this engine to optimize both durability and power output. The unique Proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design is a key feature, minimizing friction and power loss by reducing skirt width and using a shorter wrist pin, which also saves weight. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to help manage combustion gas pressure, reducing ring flutter and improving ring seal for consistent power delivery. A skirt coating, also application-dependent, further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, contributing to quieter operation and longer life.
