Built from 2618 aluminum, these JE Pistons are forged for the demanding SR20DET engine. The 88mm bore size and 8.5:1 compression ratio are specifically chosen to optimize performance and durability for high-demand applications. JE Pistons has over 75 years of experience crafting pistons that hold up under pressure, and these are no exception.

JE's proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design helps minimize friction and power loss by using a reduced skirt width. This design, along with a shorter wrist pin, also contributes to saving weight. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also feature an accumulator groove to help manage combustion gas pressure, improving ring seal and consistent power delivery. A skirt coating, if included, further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, while also quieting down operation. Every set is forged and machined 100% in the USA, ensuring a well-built component ready for serious use.
