JE Pistons SUB EJ25 DOHC 11.5:1 KIT Set of 4 Pistons

Forged from 2618 aluminum, these JE Pistons are built to handle the demands of high-performance Subaru EJ25 DOHC engines. The 11.5:1 compression ratio is designed to work with specific engine builds, aiming for improved power output. JE Pistons has been making forged racing pistons for over 75 years, and this kit applies that experience to a popular import engine platform.

This set of four pistons features JE's proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design. This means they have a reduced skirt width and a shorter wrist pin, which helps minimize friction and power loss while also saving weight. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to help reduce combustion gas pressure, leading to better ring seal and consistent power. A skirt coating, if included for your application, further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, contributing to quieter operation.
