These pistons are forged in the USA from 2618 aluminum, which gives them the strong tensile strength needed for high-demand applications. They feature JE's proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design, which helps reduce friction and power loss by using a narrower skirt and a shorter wrist pin, saving weight in the process. Depending on the specific application, they may also include an accumulator groove to help reduce combustion gas pressure, preventing ring flutter and improving ring seal for consistent power. A skirt coating, also application-dependent, further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, which can also help quiet down engine noise.

This kit includes everything you need to get your engine rebuilt: four pistons, high-quality wrist pins, locks, and JE's Pro Seal premium piston rings.
