Crafted from 2618 aluminum, these pistons are forged and machined entirely in the USA, providing the high tensile strength necessary for demanding engine builds. They incorporate JE's proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design, which helps minimize friction and weight by reducing skirt width and using a shorter wrist pin. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also feature an accumulator groove to reduce combustion gas pressure, improving ring seal and preventing flutter, as well as a skirt coating to further reduce friction, wear, and noise.
