JE Pistons SUB WRX EJ205 92mm Bore CR 9.5 KIT Set of 4 Pistons

If you're rebuilding the engine in your Subaru WRX with the EJ205 engine, these JE Pistons are a solid choice for a high-performance build. This kit includes four forged pistons designed specifically for the EJ205, featuring a 92mm bore and a 9.5:1 compression ratio. JE Pistons has been making forged racing pistons for over 75 years, and they engineer and machine these right here in the USA.

These pistons are forged from 2618 aluminum, which gives them the high tensile strength needed for demanding performance applications. They incorporate JE's proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design, which helps minimize friction and power loss by reducing skirt width. Some applications may also include an accumulator groove to help reduce combustion gas pressure, improving ring seal and preventing ring flutter. Many also come with a skirt coating to further reduce friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, which also helps quiet down engine noise.
