Forged in the USA from 2618 aluminum, these JE Pistons are built to handle the demands of performance Subaru WRX EJ205 engines. The 93mm bore and 9.5:1 compression ratio are designed to optimize power and durability for specific racing applications, whether you're on the drift track or the drag strip.

JE Pistons utilizes a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design. This design helps minimize friction and power loss by reducing skirt width, and it further saves weight with a shorter wrist pin. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also feature an accumulator groove to reduce combustion gas pressure, which helps improve ring seal and reduce ring flutter for consistent power delivery. A skirt coating, also application-dependent, is used to reduce friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, while also contributing to quieter operation.
