This set is specifically designed for the Toyota 2JZ-GTE engine, offering a robust 8.5:1 compression ratio. These pistons are engineered, forged, and machined 100% in the USA, using 2618 aluminum, which provides the high tensile strength needed for high-demand performance builds.

This kit features JE Pistons' proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design. This design helps minimize friction and power loss by reducing skirt width and saving weight with a shorter wrist pin. Depending on the specific application, you might also find an accumulator groove, which helps reduce pressure from combustion gases, improving ring seal and reducing ring flutter for consistent power. Some applications also include a skirt coating that reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, while also lowering operating noise. These pistons are designed specifically for the 2JZ-GTE engine to provide optimized performance and durability.
