They apply that experience to this set of six pistons specifically for the Toyota 2JZ-GTE engine, giving you a 9.5:1 compression ratio. This kit is designed to handle the demands of high-performance applications, whether you're building for the track or the street.

These pistons are forged in the USA from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, which is crucial for engines pushed to their limits. JE Pistons uses a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design. This helps reduce friction and power loss by using a narrower skirt and a shorter wrist pin, which also saves weight. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also feature an accumulator groove to help manage combustion gas pressure, improving ring seal and keeping power consistent. A skirt coating, if included for this application, further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, while also helping to quiet down engine noise.

This kit comes complete with high-quality wrist pins, locks, and JE Pro Seal premium piston rings, so you have the essential components needed for installation.
