JE Pistons TOY 7MGTE 9:1 KIT Set of 6 Pistons

This JE Pistons kit gives you a complete set of six forged pistons, designed specifically for the Toyota 7M-GTE engine. You'll also get high-quality wrist pins, locks, and JE Pro Seal premium piston rings, all made in the USA. These pistons feature an inverted dome/dish design with a 9.00:1 compression ratio and a 3.287-inch bore size, using a 0.866-inch pin.

JE Pistons uses a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design, which helps minimize friction and power loss by reducing skirt width. This design also saves weight with a shorter wrist pin. The pistons are forged from 2618 aluminum, a material known for its high tensile strength, making it well-suited for high-demand performance applications where durability is critical. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to help reduce combustion gas pressure, which can prevent ring flutter and improve ring seal for consistent power. A skirt coating, also application-dependent, further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, while also helping to quiet down operating noise.
