These pistons feature JE's proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design. This unique forging minimizes friction and power loss by using a reduced skirt width and a shorter wrist pin, which also saves weight. Depending on the specific application, an accumulator groove may be included to help reduce combustion gas pressure, improving ring seal and preventing ring flutter for consistent power delivery. Some applications also include a skirt coating that further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, while also contributing to quieter operation. This set includes high-quality wrist pins, locks, and JE Pro Seal premium piston rings, ensuring you have the necessary components for a complete installation.

This piston set is designed to be 86.25mm in bore size, which is a +.25mm oversize, and features a 10.5:1 compression ratio with a -10.5cc dome.
