Forged in the USA from 2618 aluminum, these pistons offer the strong tensile strength required for serious engine builds. The unique Forged Side Relief (FSR) design helps minimize friction and power loss by using a reduced skirt width and a shorter wrist pin, which also saves weight. Depending on the specific application, you might also find an accumulator groove to help reduce combustion gas pressure, improving ring seal and preventing flutter. Plus, a skirt coating can further reduce friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, leading to quieter operation.

This set includes everything you need to get your engine rebuilt: four pistons, high-quality wrist pins, locks, and JE Pro Seal premium piston rings. They are precisely machined to an 86.50mm bore, which is +.50mm oversize, with a 12.5:1 compression ratio and a -1.5cc dome.
