This set of eight Ultra Series forged pistons from JE Pistons is designed for just that. They feature JE's proprietary Aligned Grain Flow forging process, which gives them exceptional tensile strength, making them incredibly strong for high-performance applications. You'll also find custom-level features like a thermal barrier crown coating to help manage heat, a skirt coating to reduce friction and noise, and lateral gas ports to ensure a solid ring seal even at high RPMs and under heavy boost.

These pistons are built with the demands of power-adder engines in mind. The thermal barrier crown coating reflects heat back into the combustion chamber, which can help improve exhaust scavenging. The skirt coating not only cuts down on friction and wear between the piston and cylinder wall but also helps quiet things down, especially during a cold start. Plus, the optimized pin oiling features keep the wrist pins and bores well-lubricated, reducing heat and wear in that critical area. Every feature on these Ultra Series pistons is geared towards handling high horsepower.

This kit includes eight pistons, each designed for a 4.075-inch bore and a 4-inch stroke. They are made from 2618 aluminum and feature an inverted dome/dish design.
