This is a set of eight JE Pistons Ultra Series pistons, designed for GM Gen V LT4 engines with a 4.075-inch bore and 3.622-inch stroke. These pistons are built for serious performance, featuring JE's proprietary Aligned Grain Flow forging technology. This process maximizes tensile strength, making them capable of handling the extreme cylinder pressures found in boosted or nitrous-fed V8 engines. Every feature on these pistons is optimized for high-horsepower racing applications, and they are made 100% in the USA.

You'll find several custom-level features included right out of the box. The thermal barrier crown coating is a ceramic-based material that reflects heat back into the combustion chamber, helping to lower piston crown temperatures and improve exhaust gas scavenging. The skirt coating is there to reduce friction and wear on both the piston skirts and cylinder walls, which also helps to quiet down the engine, especially during cold starts. For added durability under high-performance conditions, these pistons include optimized pin oiling features to ensure the pin and bores stay well-lubricated, reducing heat and friction. Lateral gas ports are also incorporated to help maintain a strong ring seal, even at high RPMs and under significant boost.

These pistons come with high-strength, thick-wall wrist pins manufactured by Trend Performance in the USA, built to withstand the rigors of power-adder builds. It's important to note that these pistons are not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California.
