Starting with JE Pistons' proprietary Aligned Grain Flow forging technology, these Ultra Series pistons are built to handle the intense cylinder pressures found in high-boost, power-adder engine builds. This advanced forging process, done entirely in-house at JE Pistons, maximizes the tensile strength of the aluminum, making these pistons exceptionally well-built for demanding performance applications. They are specifically designed for the Honda K20A engine, with an 88mm bore and a 10.0:1 compression ratio, making them a solid choice for anyone looking to build a serious performance engine.

Beyond the core forging, these Ultra Series pistons come equipped with features typically found only in custom piston sets. The thermal barrier crown coating reflects heat back into the combustion chamber, helping to keep piston crown temperatures down and improving the efficiency of exhaust gas scavenging. To further reduce friction and wear, the piston skirts are coated, which also contributes to quieter operation, especially during cold starts. The included Trend Performance wrist pins are thick-walled and built for high-performance use, ensuring reliability in extreme conditions. Lateral gas ports are incorporated to help maintain a strong seal on the top compression ring, even at high RPMs and under significant boost, which is crucial for consistent power delivery.

This set includes four pistons, each designed with optimized pin oiling to ensure proper lubrication in the pin bores and small-end of the connecting rod, reducing heat and wear.
